Frequently asked questions
Vetting, pricing, response time, insurance, and how we differ from the national lead-gen platforms.
- Every operator on our platform is insured, licensed where required, and personally vetted by us. We check certificates of insurance, talk to recent customers, and only sign operators we would hire for our own property. If a crew slips on response time or quality, we replace them.
- Nothing. We charge operators a flat monthly fee for exclusive lead access in their service area. You pay the crew directly for the tree work, at the price they quote you on-site.
- Each lead — whether you call or fill the form — goes to exactly one vetted local operator who covers your county. Never five. Never shared. The operator calls you back within minutes during business hours.
- During business hours (typically 8am–6pm weekdays), expect a call within 60 minutes — often within 15. After hours, the operator gets the request immediately and reaches out first thing the next morning, unless it's flagged as an emergency.
- Seven NC mountain counties: Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey. If you're outside this footprint, we may still be able to route you — call us and we'll either find someone or tell you straight that we can't help in that area.
- Active damage or imminent risk to a structure, vehicle, or utility — or a tree blocking emergency access. A leaning tree that's been leaning for years is not an emergency. A trunk that moved during last night's storm is. For active emergencies, call us directly; the form works too but a phone call is faster.
- Yes. Every operator carries general liability and worker's-comp insurance — we verify this before they take a single lead. If you need certificates of insurance for your records, ask the crew on-site and they'll send them directly.
- Tree work depends heavily on tree size, access, surrounding obstacles, and what's beneath the canopy. We show typical ranges on each service page so you know what fair looks like, but the actual quote happens on-site. Any crew that quotes a fixed price sight-unseen is either lowballing to win the job or padding for unknown risk.
- We route each request to one local crew exclusively — never to five. You get one trusted callback instead of a phone full of harassment. Operators get a lead they can actually win, which means they show up for you. The aggregator model sells your information to multiple crews; we don't.
- That's your right — we'll never stop you. But if you've already got our trusted local crew showing up tomorrow at 10am, the second quote is usually unnecessary friction. We're confident in their pricing because we know what fair looks like in this region.
- Your name, phone, and address are sent to the assigned local operator through our call-tracking partner so they can call you back. We don't sell this data, share it with other crews, or use it for marketing campaigns. It exists in our system long enough to route the lead, then it lives only in the operator's records.
- Tell us. We pause leads to any crew that goes dark or quotes unfairly. The whole brand collapses if a customer hits our site and gets another voicemail — so operator responsiveness is the product, and we hold it.
